What this tool does

Use this when a client asks “when do we start the renewal?” and the schedule is not open. Suggested renewal start is the earliest reminder you selected.

Formula

Anniversary = start + term months (end-of-month clamped). Expiry = anniversary − 1 day. Reminder = expiry − N days.

Example

Start 1 Apr 2026, 12 months → expiry 31 Mar 2027. A 45-day reminder falls on 14 Feb 2027.

How to use it

Limitations

Some products expire on the anniversary date, not the day before. Leap years and backdated terms still need a human check. This does not bind cover.

Many annual policies run from the start date through the day before the next anniversary. If your schedule shows the anniversary as expiry, use that date instead.
